The Schmidt Family Foundation is a private charitable foundation established in 1986 by Charles E. and Dorothy F. Schmidt. The foundation provides funding to local nonprofit organizations as a way to give back to the community. It focuses on supporting organizations that strengthen families and communities, with particular interest in education, medical care, and community development initiatives.

At this time, the foundation operates on an invitation-only basis for new organizational support. Grant applications are not currently being accepted from new applicants.
