Rôle de la Fondation dans l'écosystème du financement

La Fondation caritative Phil McNamee joue un rôle unique dans le financement communautaire en Ontario southwestern en fournissant des bourses d'éducation et en soutenant des initiatives environnementales. La fondation collabore avec la Thames Valley District School Education Foundation pour administrer son programme de bourses.

Programmes de financement

  • Bourses d'études : Scholarships pour les élèves du secondaire exceptionnels qui ont surmonté des obstacles et souhaitent poursuivre des études postsecondaires. Depuis 2011, 60 bourses ont été accordées.
  • Initiatives environnementales : Gestion de deux réserves naturelles (Solitude - 35 acres et Serenity - 40 acres) offrant un accès gratuit et sans obstacle à la nature.

Critères généraux d'évaluation des demandes

Les candidats aux bourses doivent être des diplômés du secondaire exceptionnels ayant démontré leur capacité à surmonter des obstacles durant leurs études.

La fondation est enregistrée auprès de l'Agence du revenu du Canada (ARC) sous le numéro 84463 6605 RR001 et émet des reçus d'impôt pour les dons.
