Montreal City Mission Empowering Community Since 1910 Montreal City Mission (MCM) has been a beacon of compassion, hospitality, and justice in Montreal for over a century. Dedicated to helping the most vulnerable, MCM works as a community ministry of the United Church of Canada, welcoming diversity and fostering authentic connections across all walks of life. Our Mission At the heart of Montreal City Mission lies an unwavering belief: everyone has a right to belong to an authentic community. MCM specializes in facilitating the journey from exclusion to belonging, supporting people as they integrate meaningfully into their neighbourhoods and society. Programs for Integration and Support For more than 110 years, MCM has created programs designed to help individuals integrate and thrive. These programs address needs such as refugee rights, humanitarian immigration, health, and community building, using workshops, online resources, and innovative approaches to ensure nobody is left behind. Research for Social Change MCM actively engages in research with academic partners to strengthen its programs and influence policy changes.
