Making a Difference for Over 25 Years
For more than 25 years, the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation has been helping underprivileged youth discover the many benefits of sports and an active lifestyle. Every rink and every program holds a child’s story—discovering joy through movement, building confidence one smile at a time, and learning the values of perseverance and teamwork with every pass.
Our Impact Across Quebec
Since 2000, the Foundation has invested $54.4 million into community programs, giving thousands of young people a chance to aspire to a healthier, brighter future. More than 1,000 organizations throughout Quebec have received support, helping vulnerable children gain access to sports equipment and facilities. Over four million children in need have benefitted from programs backed by the Foundation.
The Bleu Blanc Bouge rinks are a true legacy, with 15 modern rinks built across Quebec for year-round sports—touched by over 1.7 million children and families since 2009.
Programs and Equipment for Young Athletes
Through our initiatives, over 309,000 kids have become more active with help from Foundation-supported programs in their local communities. We have distributed over 18,560 pairs of skates, helmets, and hockey sticks to give children their very first experience with skating, hockey, and ball hockey.
