Mission and Funding Focus
Mansha Plan Foundation is a registered Canadian charity founded in 2019. The name « Mansha » means wish and good fortune in Punjabi. Its mission is to educate youth about financial literacy to support their dreams of fortune and financial freedom.
Funding Activities
The foundation provides funding through multiple channels: free educational curriculum (Financial Goal Book), experiential learning workshops, and direct bursaries. Notably, Mansha Plan Foundation has funded groups of young, underrepresented athletes to participate in prestigious basketball showcases, combining financial literacy with athletic development.
Programs and Target Audience
The organization focuses on youth in the Toronto and Peel District areas, working with community partners including The Skills For Life and local school boards. Its programs emphasize experiential learning through in-person and virtual workshops covering topics like S.M.A.R.T. goal planning, income calculations, expense management, and savings habits.
