Rôle de l'Indigenous Learning Centre dans l'écosystème du financement

L'Indigenous Learning Centre (ILC) est un organisme de bienfaisance national canadien créé en 2013 par le conseil d'administration d'AFOA Canada. Il a été établi pour promouvoir l'éducation en finance, gestion et leadership pour les Autochtones au Canada. L'ILC offre une gamme de bourses visant à fournir des occasions d'éducation en finance, gestion et gouvernance aux professionnels autochtones travaillant ou souhaitant poursuivre leurs études, ainsi qu'aux étudiants qui s'inscrivent à des études postsecondaires.

Programmes de financement offerts

  • Bourses d'études : Offertes aux personnes souhaitant s'inscrire aux programmes d'AFOA Canada (CAFM, CAPA, CIHRP, CIL, CEIL). Trois catégories : Bourse de cours en ligne, Bourse de cohorte (couverture de 50% des frais de scolarité), Bourse d'atelier.
  • Bourses postsecondaires : Disponibles pour les étudiants à temps plein dans des programmes comme l'administration des affaires, la gestion, la comptabilité et le commerce (valeur de 1 000 $ chacune).

Critères d'admissibilité générale

  • Être Première Nation, Inuit ou Métis
  • Travailler dans un poste financier et/ou de gestion ou être étudiant à temps plein
  • Résider ou travailler dans une communauté ou organisation autochtone
  • La nécessité financière est prise en consideration
