Fondation Les Petits Archets For the Love of Music: The Mission of the Fondation Les Petits Archets The Fondation Les Petits Archets is dedicated to enriching the musical training of string instrumentalists in the South Shore of Montreal and the greater Montérégie region. Whether you play the violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, piano, or sing, the foundation opens its doors to passionate musicians of all ages. Community and Opportunity: Join a String Orchestra The foundation supports two main orchestras: Arc-en-sons and Crescendo. Arc-en-sons welcomes young musicians aged 7 to 12 with 1 to 3 years of instrument experience, focusing on introducing the joys of group music-making. Crescendo is designed for both teenagers and adults with at least four years of training, fulfilling the dream of playing in an orchestra for all skill levels. Musical and Educational Activities More than just performances, the foundation offers a wide range of musical and educational activities. From workshops to concerts, members gain invaluable stage experience, boost their music theory skills, and enjoy a supportive community of fellow music lovers.
