The Cap Diamant Foundation is dedicated to providing direct aid to socially isolated and financially disadvantaged seniors in the Quebec City region. Through various programs, the Foundation works to help seniors continue living at home for as long as possible, while also addressing the challenges of poverty and loneliness among the most vulnerable members of our community.

Aid Programs Offered by the Foundation
Transport and Accompaniment
The Foundation provides transportation and accompaniment services for seniors who need to attend medical appointments but have no means of getting there safely. This essential service ensures that vulnerable seniors do not miss critical healthcare, helping to preserve their health and autonomy.
Recomfort+ Program
More than just physical assistance, the Recomfort+ program offers emotional support and warmth to seniors who feel isolated. Volunteers make regular phone calls to provide companionship, breaking the cycle of loneliness that many seniors experience.
Major Housekeeping
Household chores can quickly become overwhelming due to mobility issues, arthritis, or balance problems. The Foundation's house cleaning program ensures that seniors live in a safe and clean environment, easing their stress and making daily life more manageable.
Gift Giving and Departure with Dignity
The Foundation distributes essential gifts to seniors in need during the holidays and other times of the year to bring them happiness and a sense of belonging. In addition, when a senior passes away, the Foundation offers support to ensure a respectful farewell and dignified burial, supporting families through difficult times.
