The Community Foundation of Halton North (CFHN) is an independent charitable foundation that serves the communities of Halton Hills, Milton and the broader Halton North area. Since 2015 it has been providing grants to local registered charities and community initiatives, supported by a growing endowment. Donors create permanent funds whose capital is preserved, while the investment income is used year after year to finance grants and community awards.
CFHN is part of the national network of community foundations in Canada, one of the country’s largest groups of grant makers. While it does not represent any single charity or cause, it channels philanthropic resources to priority needs identified locally, working closely with community organizations to understand funding gaps and opportunities for impact.
