Who is CABIR?
CABIR, or the Center for Volunteer Action of Iberville and the Region, is a community-based organization devoted to the promotion and development of volunteer action within its community. Supported by its dedicated volunteers, CABIR offers a wide range of services including Meals on Wheels, a Family Boutique, a social grocery store, medical transportation, and many other initiatives. The team at CABIR draws on its deep knowledge of the local community to deliver flexible, tailored services that address real needs.

CABIR's mission is to promote and develop volunteer work in order to meet the needs of the community, improving the quality of life and well-being of all citizens. CABIR’s core values include hospitality, solidarity, and kindness, which are at the heart of all their actions and initiatives.
The Area We Serve
CABIR operates in the districts of Iberville and Saint-Athanase in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, as well as in the municipality of Mont-Saint-Grégoire. Through this localized approach, they ensure their services are accessible and truly make a difference where it counts most.
