Our Mission

ARLPHAT (Association régionale de loisirs pour personnes handicapées de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue) is dedicated to promoting quality leisure opportunities for people with disabilities across the region. Since its founding in 1976, ARLPHAT has stayed true to its mission:
  • Promote the right of people with disabilities to participate in quality leisure activities.
  • Encourage the participation and free expression of individuals in their leisure choices.
  • Ensure access to all leisure activities for all people with disabilities in the region.

Our Services

ARLPHAT offers a variety of services, including animation, training, organizational support, and financial assistance. The aim is to support both individuals and organizations to create inclusive and accessible leisure experiences.

The Carte accompagnement Loisir

The "Carte accompagnement loisir" provides free entry, at participating venues, for the companion of a person who has a disability or mental health issue and needs assistance. This initiative helps ensure that leisure activities are accessible to everyone.

News and Events

ARLPHAT regularly updates the community on upcoming events and news, such as the Interclub d’hiver and the annual events calendar presentation. These activities foster inclusion, socialization, and enjoyment for all participants.
