How it works
What is helloDarwin?
As a service provider on helloDarwin, you gain access to a platform designed to connect technology and marketing professionals with clients who need their expertise.
Once registered (which is free of charge), you can showcase your services, skills, and past work on your profile. Potential clients then have the opportunity to navigate your profile when you express interest in their projects by raising your hand. Maintaining a robust, up-to-date profile significantly enhances your chances of being chosen as a finalist by clients.
Clients can shortlist between 1 and 3 service providers from those who raised their hand, allowing them to choose the providers that best suit their needs. Payment is only required once you are shortlisted as a finalist for a project, ensuring that your investment correlates directly with a potential business opportunity.
helloDarwin provides you with an equal opportunity to compete for projects that align with your expertise and to form valuable professional connections. It's a unique platform that facilitates the growth of your business by bridging the gap between you and potential clients.
How much does it cost to be a service provider?
At helloDarwin, we've implemented a new model that emphasizes accessibility and fair practice. Registration on our platform is absolutely free, allowing you to join our network of tech and marketing professionals at no upfront cost.
Our remuneration system has been designed with transparency and fairness in mind. You are required to pay only once a client shortlists you as a finalist for their project. This ensures that you only invest when there's a potential business opportunity in sight. Additionally, a referral fee may apply under certain circumstances, reflecting our role in connecting you with the client.
We believe this model fosters a vibrant and competitive community, offering you an equal opportunity to showcase your capabilities and services, and compete for projects that align with your expertise.
What is a Raise Hand project?
This type of project is the new way of operating at helloDarwin. Once a client submits a project on the platform, you (the providers) have the opportunity to raise your hand for this project for a certain amount. Subsequently, the client will be able to select (shortlist) 3 providers from the raised hands received. It is at this point that you will be put in contact with the client.
What is a service provider profile?
At helloDarwin, we've designed our platform to encourage effective interaction between clients and service providers. When you raise your hand for a project, clients gain access to navigate your profile. This provides them with a comprehensive view of your skills, past work, ratings, and other pertinent details that can influence their decision.
An up-to-date and robust profile significantly enhances your chances of being chosen as a finalist. By keeping your profile current, highlighting your achievements, and maintaining a positive track record, you not only display your professional competence but also show your potential clients your commitment and readiness for new projects.
Remember, your profile is the first impression clients get of you and your services. Make it count by regularly updating it with your latest projects, showcasing your expertise and maintaining a strong rapport with your clients. This practice will surely increase your visibility and the likelihood of being shortlisted by potential clients.
Are clients always selecting three service providers?
At helloDarwin, we offer our clients the flexibility to choose the number of service providers that best fits their needs. Once service providers raise their hand for a project, clients can then shortlist between 1 and 3 service providers from the interested candidates. It's important to note that clients are not obligated to select three providers. They can choose just one or two if they believe these providers best suit their project requirements. This flexibility ensures clients have the freedom to select based on their specific project needs and preferences.
