- Canadian entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners.
- For-profit, not-for-profit, and social enterprises.
- Employees of an eligible business with written permission from the owner, president, or chief executive officer.
Who is not eligible
- Residents of Quebec, Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut are not eligible.
- Employees, representatives, contractors, or agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, and other individuals or entities involved in the promotion are not eligible.

Selection criteria
- Entrant’s business story.
- The entrant’s dreams and goals for the business.
- The positive impact of the business.
- A thought-out plan for using the grant money.
- The amount of votes received for shortlisted companies.
How to apply
- Complete the online application form on the Zensurance Small Business Grant webpage.
- Request a quote for an insurance product by completing and submitting an online application.
- Follow one of Zensurance’s social media channels.
- Submit the mandatory submission form and provide the requested information.
Processing and Agreement
- A shortlist of ten businesses will be selected on or before June 10, 2026.
- Shortlisted businesses must submit additional content on or before June 12, 2026.
- The two $10,000 grant recipients will be announced on June 25, 2026.
- Grant recipients must respond within 7 days of being contacted.
- Grant recipients must review, sign, and return any agreements required by Zensurance, including waivers, releases, liability and indemnity agreements, and intellectual property agreements.
