Overview
Up to $30,000 is available to support smaller-sized Canadian organizations delivering direct youth mental and physical health support. Funding is intended to help organizations carry out mission-aligned activities that benefit priority youth communities.
Activities funded
- Direct support activities that promote youth mental health.
- Direct support activities that promote youth physical health.
Examples of admissible projects:

Expand drop-in counselling and peer support for marginalized youth

Create adaptive wellness sessions with mental health coaching for disabled youth

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a Canadian organization.
- The organization must be smaller-sized.
- The organization must directly support youth mental and physical health.
- The proposed work must align with supporting youth communities that are a focus of the initiative (Black and/or 2SLGBTQ+ youth, and as of 2025, youth living with a physical disability).

How to apply
Step 1: Prepare application package
- Compile the required application materials for submission.
- Email the completed application to the program contact address indicated by the funder.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission, with a referenced turnaround timeframe of early June.
Additional information
- The funding initiative began in 2022.
- From 2022 to 2024, the funding focused on Black and/or 2SLGBTQ+ youth.
- Beginning in 2025, a third focus area is added: youth living with a physical disability.
- The initiative is guided by experts and people with lived experience who help design and direct the funding.
