This program offers non-repayable financial support of $50,000 to $300,000, covering up to 90% of total project costs, to improve youth-dedicated infrastructure in Québec. It funds projects such as construction, acquisition, renovation, expansion, redevelopment and code compliance work on facilities primarily serving young people aged 12 to 35.

- Construction or reconstruction of youth-dedicated infrastructure, including demolition of obsolete facilities.
- Acquisition of buildings or spaces to be used as youth infrastructure.
- Interior and exterior development or layout of existing youth facilities.
- Expansion, renovation, repair, refurbishment or conversion of youth spaces.
- Work to bring youth infrastructure up to current standards and regulations.

- Completed project presentation form – PAFIJ 2026-2027.
- Project budget forecast template – PAFIJ 2026-2027.
- Applicant’s resolution template – PAFIJ 2026-2027 authorizing the application and designating a representative.
- List of board of directors members template, if applicable.
- Any additional documents specified in the 2026-2027 applicant’s guide.
Eligibility
- Be a non-profit organization, cooperative, social economy enterprise, Indigenous organization, northern village or collective of youth organizations.
- Have young people in Québec aged 12 to 35 as the main target audience.
- Own the infrastructure, or hold a qualifying long-term lease, occupancy agreement or emphyteusis right.
- Act as the infrastructure project lead and demonstrate capacity to operate and maintain the facility.
- Be registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, active for at least two years, with head office in Québec.

- For-profit businesses and organizations.
Eligible expenses
- Acquisition of an eligible youth infrastructure.
- Construction, reconstruction and demolition of obsolete existing infrastructure.
- Expansion and interior or exterior layout work.
- Renovation, repair, refurbishment or conversion of existing infrastructure.
- Work to bring infrastructure up to standards and code requirements.
Eligible geographic areas
- Organizations with their head office in Québec.
- Infrastructure located within the province of Québec.
Selection criteria
- Whether the applicant has not received funding in previous calls under this program.
- Urgency and critical nature of the proposed work.
- Importance of the needs of young beneficiaries and the local socio-economic context.
- Alignment of the organization’s mission with acting on youth, as defined in the Québec youth policy.
- Proportion of clientele composed of young people aged 12 to 35 and regional representativeness of selected projects.
How to apply
- Step 1: Consult Program Documentation

- Step 2: Prepare Application Forms
- Complete the project presentation form – PAFIJ 2026-2027.
- Fill in the project budget forecast template – PAFIJ 2026-2027.
- Complete the applicant’s resolution template authorizing submission and designating a representative.
- Prepare the list of board of directors members template, if applicable.
- Step 3: Compile Full Application Package
- Gather all required forms and supporting documents specified in the applicant’s guide.
- Verify that the information is complete and consistent across all documents.
- Step 4: Submit Application by Deadline
- Send the complete project application so it is received no later than March 12, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
- Use the transmission method indicated by the program (as specified in the applicant’s guide or on the program webpage).
Additional information
- Projects must be completed within a maximum of 18 months following the signing of the financial assistance agreement.
- This call for projects (2026-2027) is the sixth edition of the program.
- Project intent submissions are accepted until March 12, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
- A webinar is offered to present the call parameters and answer applicants’ questions.
