This program provides up to $6,000 to support small youth-focused projects in the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region. Priority activities include youth education or training, youth-led initiatives, cross-community youth connections, and learning initiatives focused on multiculturalism, inclusiveness, and diversity.
Activities funded
- Projects addressing urgent youth needs identified in CBT’s 2023 Vital Signs
- Education and training initiatives that build capacity for local youth
- Projects connecting youth across communities within the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Region
- Youth-driven initiatives
- Projects promoting education and discussion on multiculturalism, inclusiveness, and diversity
Examples of admissible projects:
Youth-led coastal safety and climate skills workshops across communities
Youth media lab creating inclusion stories and inter-community showcase

- The applicant organization must operate in the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve Region.
- The project must focus on youth needs and/or youth education, training, and capacity building.
