Eligible expenses
- Design professional fees, internal labor, consulting and study fees, document acquisition, and modeling costs.
- Laboratory tests, simulations, prototype production, software, small equipment, and direct test materials.
- Wood construction materials directly linked to the innovation, including essential fire-protection materials and related extra costs.
- Technical reporting, monitoring, GHG quantification, verification, and approved visibility costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Construction contract costs.
- Administrative costs, travel and training, office equipment, project financing costs, taxes, interest, and loan repayments.
- Labor costs for owners holding 10% or more of the business.
- Land, property acquisition, and related transaction costs.
- Payments to entities listed on the RENA register.

- Wait for the acknowledgement of receipt.
Processing and Agreement
- The MRNF first reviews eligibility and required documents.
- The applicant receives an acknowledgement of receipt for a complete application.
- Admissible applications are assessed by a selection committee of at least three people.
- Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until the available budget is exhausted.
- If approved, a grant agreement must be signed before funding is granted.
