How to apply

  • Create a profile on the grant application portal.
  • If your organization already exists in the portal but you do not have a user account, contact grants@ykcf.ca so an account can be created and linked to your organization.
  • Once logged in, click Apply in the navigation bar to access each grant application.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Grants Committee and Fund Advisors.
  • After submission, Yellowknife Community Foundation staff conduct due diligence checks and Grants Committee members undertake a review process.
  • Applicants may be contacted for further clarifying information during the review process.
  • Applicants are notified in September, and every applicant receives notification regardless of funding decision.
  • Successful grantees must submit a final report through the online portal.
