Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • FCM municipal or local government members.
  • Affiliated members such as provincial or territorial associations.

Who is not eligible

  • Municipal corporations.
  • Non-profit organizations.
  • Private-sector entities.

Selection criteria

  • Priority is given to initiatives that foster diversity, inclusion, and youth integration.
  • Priority is given to mentoring, improved access to information, and the elimination of informal networking and decision-making processes.

How to apply

  • Consult the eligible and ineligible costs in Annex A before submitting an application.
  • Submit the application by 28 August 2019 at 23:00 (HAP).
  • A confirmation email is sent within two weeks of submission.
  • FCM informs applicants of the decision within two months after the closing date.
  • If selected, sign and return the contract to FCM within 25 business days.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by an independent evaluator using the scoring table in Annex B.
  • FCM sends a confirmation email within two weeks of receiving the application.
  • Applicants are informed of the result within two months after the closing date.
  • If selected, applicants receive a contract that must be signed and returned to FCM within 25 business days.
