Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Provincial wildland fire management agencies.
  • Territorial wildland fire management agencies.
  • Indigenous wildland fire management, stewardship, and emergency management entities.
  • The Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC).
  • The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC).

Eligible expenses

  • Salaries, benefits, and stipends.
  • Professional and contracting services, including printing and translation.
  • Training, professional development, and facility rental for workshops or working groups.
  • Software, hardware, and other IT or information systems costs.
  • Data collection, processing, analysis, and management services.
  • GST, PST, or HST net of any tax rebate.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Construction of buildings.
  • Purchase of land or buildings.
