The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation EnviroFund funding page now shows applications due in April 2027 instead of the previous April 24, 2026 deadline. The employee donation instructions were also updated from the Epic Employee App path to Launch Workday > Personal > Benefits and Pay > Pay > Voluntary Deductions. How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the application
- Complete the Funding Application Form.
- Prepare the required project summary, organization details, project description, budget, and recognition information.
- Step 2: Submit the application
- Send the submission to Cynthia Buck, WBF Envirofund Chairperson, at cbuck@vailresorts.com.
- Applications will be due in April 2027.
- Step 3: Application review and decision
- The Executive Director reviews applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors.
- The Selection Committee reviews proposals for approval.
- Step 4: Notification and agreement
- Applicants are notified by phone or mail after the Board meeting.
- Successful applicants sign a Grant Recipient Letter of Agreement.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the Foundation’s Environmental Fund Selection Committee for approval.
- The Executive Director makes recommendations to the Board of Directors after the deadline.
- They aim to respond back to all applicants by early June 2026 in time for summer projects to proceed.
- Successful recipients must sign a Grant Recipient Letter of Agreement.
- Applicants are notified by phone or mail after the Board decision.
