How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the application
- Complete the grant proposal forms.
- If you do not have a website, attach a one-page organization profile.
- Prepare the project budget and sustainability information.
- Step 2: Submit the application
- Return the completed proposal and any applicable attachments by email.
- Send the application to Anne-Marie Underhill at underhilla@cgmh.on.ca.
- Step 3: Await review and decision
- The application is vetted before committee review.
- Successful applicants are notified after the review process.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed and vetted by the CGMH Foundation President & CEO before committee review.
- The Fund Advisory Committee reviews vetted applications and selects successful applicants.
- Successful applicants are notified before funding is released.
- A signed Grant Agreement is required before funds are disbursed.
- Successful projects are publicly announced after the agreement is received.

- Applicants can partner with other community organizations.
- Successful applicants must sign a Grant Agreement before funds are released.
- Funded projects require annual reporting for multi-year support.
- Written project evaluations are required by February 28 following the funding year.
