- Applications are reviewed by Wawanesa and wildfire prevention experts from FireSmart Canada and ICLR.
- Wawanesa may reject applications that are ineligible, inaccurate, or incomplete.

- Recipients may need to sign Wawanesa’s funding agreement before funds are paid.
