How to apply
- Contact the advisory team at your service center to file a notice of damage.
Processing and Agreement
- A notice of damage is required and remains admissible as long as it is still possible to verify that the damage was caused by waterfowl.
- Urgent work must be authorized by La Financière agricole before it is indemnified.
- For hay, yield-loss indemnities are calculated collectively using fixed amounts per hectare, based on the intensity of the damage.
- For other crops, yield-loss indemnities are calculated using an individual assessment that compares affected and unaffected areas.
- When waterfowl damage causes a yield loss greater than 10%, the indemnity is calculated using the formula based on 90% of the loss and the crop-insurance unit price.
