Eligibility
Who is eligible?
- Registered landowners
- Landowners with projects in the SRWD
Who is not eligible
- Landowners who have already received assistance since April 1, 2002 for a new project.
- Applicants for dams built by another agency or individual landowner.
Eligible expenses
- Construction contractor costs, materials, and supplies.
- Fencing for the dam, spillway, and reservoir.
- Repairs during the 3-year maintenance period.

- Repairs on dams built by another agency or individual landowner.
- New projects for landowners who have received program assistance since April 1, 2002.

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the Regional SRWD.
- Approvals depend on available annual program funds.
- A written agreement becomes binding once accepted by both parties.
- The agreement may be terminated if responsibilities are not met.
Additional information
- Applications must be returned to the Regional SRWD office.
- The agreement is void if the land changes hands.
- The project may be terminated if either party fails to meet its responsibilities.
