The Vital Community Grants program provides financial support to charities aiming to advance equity and address systemic barriers within the Peterborough region. Eligibility
- Be a registered charity operating within or serving the City and/or County of Peterborough, Hiawatha First Nation, or Curve Lake First Nation
- Work specifically to advance equity for marginalized groups facing systemic barriers
- Be willing to participate actively in a granting circle for decision-making
- Discrimination based on protected classes disqualifies an organization
