How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the application
- Complete the application form.
- Obtain original estimates or quotes.
- For tree maintenance, secure a prescription from an ISA Certified Arborist.
- Step 2: Submit for approval
- Send the application to the Public Works Department before starting work.
- Applications are accepted from February 1 to October 30 each year, subject to budget approval and availability.
- Step 3: Complete the approved work
- Have the prescribed tree work completed by an ISA Certified Arborist.
- Keep itemized costs and supporting documentation.
- Step 4: Submit completion documents
- Provide final invoices and proof of payment once the work is complete.
- Submit them before the end of November of the application year for inspection and rebate processing.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by the Public Works Department before work begins.
- Refunds are issued only after inspection of the proposed and completed work or site.
- Final invoices and proof of payment must be submitted for the rebate to be processed.
