Eligibility

  • The organization must deliver programming that supports single mothers in overcoming systemic and societal barriers.
  • The program’s objectives must align with at least one of the funder’s stated goals (economic well-being, family stability, access to supports/resources, or support for vulnerable demographics of single mothers).
  • Programming must take place within Canada.
  • The applicant organization must have been active and executing programming for a minimum of 12 months (except new programs from established charities).

  • Charities delivering programs that support single mothers
  • Established charities proposing a new program focused on single mothers

Who is not eligible

  • New organizations that have not been active and executing programming for at least 12 months
  • Charities that have applied for a grant with the funder within the past 2 years
  • Organizations proposing programs focused on domestic violence
  • Organizations proposing programs listed in the funder’s “Areas we do not fund”

  • Programs focusing on domestic violence
  • Programs listed in the funder’s “Areas we do not fund”

  • Canada (any province or territory)
