This funding provides up to $500 for professional development costs. It supports leadership capacity-building opportunities for senior staff and volunteers to improve organizational excellence, innovation, HR management, and fiscal management.

Activities funded

Professional development opportunities for organizational leaders (including senior staff and volunteers).
Leadership training focused on innovation in service delivery and service development.
Professional development focused on human resource management.
Professional development focused on organizational excellence.
Professional development focused on fiscal management.

Eligibility

The applicant must be an eligible organization supported by United Way Central Alberta.
The professional development opportunity must build leadership capacity for organizational leaders (including senior staff and volunteers).
The professional development must strengthen leadership skills and innovation related to service delivery and development, human resource management, organizational excellence, or fiscal management.
The activity must align with at least one of the three priorities: basic needs, mental health services access, or creating positive futures.

Processing and Agreement

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Applicants may be qualified or non-qualified donees.
