- African Nova Scotian, Black, and Indigenous students for the Faculty of Medicine SSRP.

- Students already in a graduate program.
- Students in an undergraduate professional degree in the health sciences, for non-CIHR awards.
- Students who have completed all degree requirements.
- Applicants without an eligible Faculty of Medicine supervisor.
