Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Registered Canadian charities carrying out activities in British Columbia, Alberta, and The Yukon.
  • Registered Canadian amateur athletic associations.

Who is not eligible

  • For-profit organizations, unregistered charities, privately funded educational institutions, service clubs, political organizations, and political causes or campaigns.
  • Non-registered amateur sports, scholarships or sponsorships to individuals, corporate gift or prize donations, and student trips or exchange programs.
  • Religious or faith-related organizations or initiatives.
  • Organizations that promote discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, or religion.
  • Capital investments; art galleries, museums, and heritage buildings.
