Who is not eligible
- Agricultural enterprises that have already benefited, in whole or in part, from a part-time or full-time subvention to agricultural succession under the Program d’appui financier à la relève agricole and its previous versions
Eligible expenses
- Purchase of additional land, permanent improvements to land and buildings, and improvements that protect air, soil and water
- Purchase of breeding animals, productive plants, agricultural equipment, machinery, and quotas
- Interest payments on loans and leverage loans, including net interest on loans guaranteed by La Financière agricole du Québec
- Recognized agricultural training acquired after obtaining a subvention to the relève
- Support for enterprise management

- Contact the advisory team at your service center to make an appointment.
- Bring your business plan, diplomas or comparative evaluation if you have diplomas from another country, and proof of age to the first meeting.
- After the meeting, your advisor will inform you of the other documents needed to complete your application.
- Submit your financial data and other information.
- To obtain a disbursement, complete the Demande de paiement form and send it to your service center.
Processing and Agreement
- The subvention is paid upon production of supporting documents.
- The supporting documents must be presented within five years following the date the subvention was granted.
