Tuition Support Program for Nurses (TSPN)

• Completed application form
• Proof of tuition paid for each academic year
• Copy of CNO General License
• Signed Return-of-Service Agreement
• Signed Confirmation of Employment and consent form

Who is eligible?

• Nurse practitioners
• Registered nurses
• Registered practical nurses

Who is not eligible

• Nurses without full CNO licensure
• Applicants who do not have eligible full-time or part-time employment
• Applicants in casual employment only

Eligible expenses

• Tuition fees for nursing studies

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• T2202A forms as proof of tuition
• Casual employment for return of service
• Mail or courier submissions

Eligible geographic areas

• Ontario
• Eligible underserved communities in northern and very rural Ontario

• Applications are reviewed after submission with supporting documents.
• Applicants may be required to complete a return-of-service approval process.
• Approval is conditional on securing eligible employment and signing the required agreement.
• Funding is released after return of service begins.
• Annual reporting and employer confirmation may be required during the return-of-service period.

• Applicants must submit the required forms and supporting documents.
• Applications can be sent by email or fax only; mailed or couriered documents are not accepted.
• Electronic signatures are accepted in place of original signed documents.
• Applicants must keep the Ministry informed of any change of address while in the program.
