How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the submission
- Complete the submission form.
- Prepare one eBook copy in EPUB or PDF format.
- Prepare two printed copies of the title.
- Step 2: Send the application
- Upload the eBook to Ontario Creates’ online submission form.
- Mail the two printed copies and the completed paper form to Ontario Creates in Toronto.
- Step 3: Submit by the deadline
- Submit as soon as possible for books published between January and October.
- Submit upon publication for books published in November and December.
Processing and Agreement
- Submissions are reviewed by a jury of writers and literary community members.
- The jury selects a shortlist and the winning titles.
- Winners are announced after the shortlist in Toronto.
- Publishers of shortlisted titles must support promotion and publicity activities.
