How to apply
- Tribal councils must apply every year using the Tribal Council Consolidated Funding Application Form.
- The application must be accompanied by a Tribal Council Consolidated Work Plan.
- Completed forms and work plans may be submitted to the regional office.
- Applicants should contact their regional office to confirm the deadline for the funding application and consolidated work plan.
Processing and Agreement
- The regional office reviews the application information used in the funding calculation and approves it.
- Applications submitted before 30 September may be used to fund a tribal council up to the full amount of its funding level, if that amount has not already been paid.
- If a submitted work plan includes ineligible activities or expenses, the regional office informs the tribal council and the council may submit a modified work plan.
