Eligibility

Who is eligible?

How to apply

  • Complete a bursary application at the beginning of each term.
  • Find the application in the myTrent student portal when it is posted at the start of each term.
  • For appeals, submit a completed bursary appeal form by the advertised deadline.

Processing and Agreement

  • The Financial Aid office determines student financial need and bursary eligibility based on MTCU guidelines and the bursary application.
  • The Financial Aid office allocates bursary amounts to undergraduate students based on financial need.
  • The Student Accessibility Office determines a student’s disability status.
  • Bursary appeals are reviewed by a bursary committee of at least two persons.
