How to apply

  • Step 1: Confirm eligibility
    • Check whether you are an Ontario Works or O.D.S.P. client living in the City or County of Peterborough.
    • Confirm that you do not receive transportation money from your Case Manager, if applying for a subsidized bus pass.
  • Step 2: Gather documents
    • Bring your current month statement of assistance and personal identification for a bus pass.
    • For medical transportation, collect appointment dates and related travel expense records.
  • Step 3: Visit the bus terminal or contact your Case Manager
    • Go to the Peterborough Transit bus terminal at 190 Simcoe St. to buy a low-cost bus pass.
    • Speak with your Case Manager about medical transportation assistance or any questions.

Processing and Agreement

  • Eligibility is checked through the relevant support office or Case Manager.
  • Medical transportation claims require proof of appointment dates and related expenses.
  • Applicants receive assistance only if they meet the stated conditions.
