  • Municipalities preparing for the likely attainment of the 20% official language minority population threshold.

  • Other translation and interpretation expenses paid within the eligible period and supported by detailed receipts.

  • Any services beyond the obligations of the Official Languages Act.

  • Step 1: Prepare Application Information
    • Gather the contact details of the person authorized to sign funding requests for the municipality.
    • Compile answers to all questions listed on the first page of the online application form.
    • Organize all receipts in one non-editable PDF or Word file, in chronological order with clearly indicated net totals.
  • Step 2: Complete Online Form
    • Access the encrypted Jotform platform via the provided web link.
    • Fill in all required fields in the online application form in one session, as progress cannot be saved.
  • Step 3: Upload Supporting Documents
    • Attach the consolidated receipts file as instructed in the form.
  • Step 4: Submit Application
    • Review the application for completeness.
    • Click SUBMIT before closing the browser window; otherwise, the information will be lost.
    • Ensure submission is completed by the end of the day on the stated deadline.

Additional information

  • Only expenses incurred between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026 are eligible for reimbursement.
  • Applications must be submitted no later than Monday, March 23, 2026.
  • Receipts must be grouped in chronological order in a single non-editable PDF or Word file.
  • The total reimbursement envelope is shared among municipalities based on the number of applications received.
