  • Step 1: Prepare application materials

    • Prepare your leadership and civic abilities description
    • Prepare your financial considerations statement
    • Obtain your transcript and recommendation letter
  • Step 2: Complete the online form
    • Enter personal, school, and program information
    • Provide your instructor's name and education details
    • Confirm that all required information and documents are ready
  • Step 3: Upload supporting documents and submit
    • Upload the transcript
    • Upload the letter of recommendation
    • Submit the application through the online portal

Processing and Agreement

  • Applicants are notified of the Selection Committee’s decision
  • Awards apply to the academic year starting in September
  • Recipients may need to participate in an interview or promotional activities

Additional information

  • Up to four bursaries are awarded each year.
  • The bursary is administered by the ARFI under the direction of the ARFI Board Chair.
  • Recipients may be asked to take part in a brief interview.
  • Recipients may also be invited to appear in promotional media and provide a recent photograph.
