TRAB eligibility, rates, and application access updated
The TRAB program page now shows a narrower service focus for households in Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan, and Beaver County, and it replaces the old detailed FAQ-style eligibility text with a shorter direction to the FAQ section for full rules. It also removes the online application portal link and now says appointments are made by email at applications@heartlandhousing.ca; the page still emphasizes that TRAB is not emergency funding and directs emergency needs to 211. The application guide was revised with updated income thresholds and a clearer checklist, including EI statements alongside recent paystubs and a more explicit housing lease requirement. One visible municipality threshold changed from $54,400 to $54,500 for Beaver County, while the old year-one and year-two rate tables that showed monthly benefits of $196, $232, $286, $324, and $338 in year one and $157, $186, $229, $259, and $270 in year two are no longer shown on the main program page.
