Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Community organizations

Who is not eligible

  • Commercial businesses and for-profit organizations.
  • Individuals.
  • Organizations that act as funding bodies or give grants to others.
  • Recreational sport groups and sports sponsorship requests.
  • Organizations mainly funded by higher levels of government or the County of Simcoe.

Eligible expenses

  • General operating expenses, including administrative costs.
  • Program-related expenses such as website, promotional materials, and printing.
  • Use of municipal property, facilities, materials, or resources.
  • Waived rental fees and other in-kind municipal support.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Capital projects.
  • Deficits and organizational debts.
  • Activities serving religious or political membership or purposes.
