Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Organizational capacity, including past experience, qualifications, and the ability to manage funds responsibly

How to apply

  • Obtain an electronic copy of the Township’s Grant Application Form from the Township’s website.
  • Submit the application to the Township online.
  • Alternatively, request a paper copy by email or in person at the office during business hours.
  • Submit applications no later than October 31st each year, unless otherwise stated by the Township.

Processing and Agreement

  • After submission, applicants receive confirmation that their application has been received.
  • Staff review applications to determine whether they are complete.
  • If an application is incomplete or non-compliant, the applicant is notified and given one week to address any deficiencies.
  • The Community Grants Committee evaluates each application and may request additional information.
  • The Committee presents recommendations to Council during annual budget deliberations.
  • Council makes the final decision on grant allocations, and applicants are notified in writing.

Additional information

  • The application period is now CLOSED for the 2026 application period.
  • Applications are due no later than October 31st each year, unless otherwise stated by the Township.
  • Late submissions will only be considered if unallocated funds remain in the program’s current year budget.
  • All decisions by Council are final and no appeals process will be provided.
