How to apply
- Step 1: Prepare the application
- Complete the Community Grant Application Form.
- Attach the organization description, board or committee list, budget form, and financial statement.
- Complete the Applicant’s Declaration.
- Step 2: Arrange in-kind support, if needed
- Meet with the Recreation and/or Public Works Department before submitting any request for in-kind support.
- Prepare the In-Kind Support Summary Document and obtain approval if applicable.
- Step 3: Submit the application
- Send the completed package to the Economic Development and Communications Officer by mail or email.
- Use the form submission addresses provided by the Township.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed for completeness before going to Council.
- Grant requests are assessed based on need, cost effectiveness, financial viability, community contribution, and community involvement.
- Applicants are notified after the North Glengarry budget process.
- Approved grantees must sign a Letter of Agreement before funds are paid.
- Funding must be used as approved, and accountability statements are required after completion.

- Accountability statements are due within 60 days after project completion.
- Grantees must carry appropriate insurance naming the Township as additional insured, unless waived.
