- Specifications of the proposed project, including design drawings prepared by a design professional if available, or sketches, renderings, and/or elevation drawings
- Three detailed independent contractor estimates for each component of the proposed eligible work, or two estimates covering all components, plus a statement on how the project meets the CIP goals and objectives

Who is eligible?
- Registered owners, assessed owners, and tenants with written consent of the property owner may be eligible for financial incentives.

- Environmental site assessment and environmental remediation
- Development, redevelopment, construction, and reconstruction of lands and buildings for rehabilitation purposes
- Development, redevelopment, construction, and reconstruction of lands and buildings for the provision of energy efficient uses, buildings, structures, works, improvements, or facilities
How to apply
- Submit the electronic Pre-Consultation Form.
- Meet with Town Staff to discuss the proposed project or the programs that are available.
- Receive the checklist detailing the items that need to be submitted to be considered for a grant.
- Submit the application in accordance with the requirements outlined in Section 7.4.2.
Processing and Agreement
- The CIP Implementation Lead reviews and evaluates applications and supporting materials and may conduct a site visit.
- Complete applications may be recommended to Council for approval or refusal.
- Approved applications require a Financial Assistance Agreement.
- After project completion, the applicant must submit a statement with supporting invoices and proof of payment, after which the Town inspects the work and, if approved, issues a notice of completion and initiates financial assistance.
- Program commitments may be cancelled if work does not commence within six months of approval or if a notice of completion is not issued within 12 months of execution of the Financial Assistance Agreement; applicants may appeal a refusal to Council.
