- Travel, ground transportation, visas, freight and equipment transport, insurance, per diems, and accommodations
- Tour-specific promotion and marketing costs
- Artists' fees not covered by presenter fees
- Virtual presentation costs when combined with in-person activities
- Accessibility, COVID safety, and environmental impact costs

How to apply
- Step 1: Create and activate a Nova account
- Register a personal account.
- Activate your profile in Nova.
- Step 2: Set up your organization profile, if needed
- Request affiliation or register a new organization/group profile.
- Step 3: Start and complete the application
- Select the program in Nova.
- Fill in the application form and upload required support material.
- Validate the application and submit it online before the deadline.
- Step 4: Follow up after submission
- Check Nova for the notification letter once results are available.
- Acknowledge the letter and meet any payment conditions, if awarded.
Processing and Agreement
- If you receive a grant, you must complete the project and submit a final report in Nova.
- Your final report must include a description of the project undertaken and its outcomes, a final budget, and documentation and/or an explanation of how you followed or will follow OAC’s public value and engagement requirements.
- If the budget you submit shows a surplus of more than $250, you may be required to repay the surplus amount to OAC.
Additional information
- Applications open about two months before the deadline.
- Grant decisions are typically communicated about four and a half months after the deadline.
- Final report approval is required after the project ends.
- Recognition of OAC and Government of Ontario support is required.
