Latest change: The Tour Support Grant guidelines and assessment criteria were revised with tighter tour eligibility, new expense caps, and clearer application requirements.
Tour Support guidelines and assessment criteria updated
The Tour Support Grant music guidelines now show more detailed tour-eligibility rules, including requirements for current or upcoming releases, at least six live public performances, more than one city or town, and different venues, plus clarified exclusions and caps on eligible expenses. The assessment criteria also now include a DEIA/accessibility bonus and define a northern, rural, or small urban community as living greater than 50 KM outside of Regina or Saskatoon. The application process guidance was tightened so applicants are directed to use the mandatory budget template and travel itinerary template, and assessor tips now emphasize project clarity, strategy, evidence, and budget realism. Funding terms continue to show a maximum of $15,000 and 50% cost share, and the guidelines state that applications with ineligible expenses over 50% of the budget are ineligible.
