- Capital costs to acquire, construct, renew, rehabilitate, improve, or renovate an asset.
- Other reasonable and necessary project costs approved for implementation.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Vacant land and related costs.
- Licensed vehicles, except for public transportation projects.
- Operating costs, including wages and salaries, except pilot projects.
- Debt reduction, deficits, fundraising campaigns, legal fees, financing charges, interest, and merger costs.
- Cash payments, donations of materials, equipment, or services, hospitality expenses, and volunteer labour costs.

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are received, assessed, and evaluated by the Regional Development Corporation.
- RDC may request a sector review from the relevant department when needed.
- Projects that meet requirements are reviewed for consideration, but approval is not guaranteed.
- The President of RDC approves initiatives, and projects over $500,000 go to Executive Council.
- Approved applicants must allow site access and information verification.
