This program provides strategic funding of up to $30,000 to support targeted arts initiatives in Toronto. Eligible activities vary by stream and can include site-specific research and creation, free public arts programming in selected parks or libraries, exploratory design collaboration, and arts engagement projects for newcomers and refugees.
Activities funded
- Site-specific research, development, creation, production, presentation, and programming responding to or interpreting selected sites or museums
- Free arts programming in selected Toronto parks
- Free community-engaged arts programming in selected library branches
- Exploratory design process projects with students in TMU’s Creative School Design Solutions Super Course
- Arts projects that engage newcomers and refugees
Examples of admissible projects:
