• The applicant must carry out the majority of its charitable work within the District of Thunder Bay.
• For large provincial or national charities, the proposed project must be uniquely beneficial to Thunder Bay.
• The request must be for a charitable organization, program, or project.

Who is eligible?

• Charitable organizations delivering programs or projects in the District of Thunder Bay.
• Provincial or national charities proposing projects uniquely beneficial to Thunder Bay.

Who is not eligible

• Organizations that do not carry out the majority of their charitable work within the District of Thunder Bay.
• Large provincial or national charities whose proposed project is not uniquely beneficial to Thunder Bay.

• Applications are reviewed after the September to October intake period.
• Decisions are typically provided in November.

• Calls for proposals are held once per year (September to October).
• Funding decisions are communicated in November.
• The maximum request per application is $25,000.
• The amount available varies by fund each year.
