Who is eligible?
- Land-based First Nations in British Columbia.
- Hereditary Groups in British Columbia.
- Indigenous-led organizations serving land-based First Nations or Hereditary Groups in BC.
- BC non-profit societies, including community service co-operatives, operating since August 1, 2024.
Eligible geographic areas
- British Columbia
- Canada-wide or federally registered applicants serving communities in British Columbia
Selection criteria
- Alignment with one or more focus areas: healing, land, rights and responsibilities, or culture.
- Use or revitalization of culturally specific Indigenous governance systems and decolonial practices.
- Ability to clearly define success markers and guiding values.
- Priority is given to work that has historically been denied funding or continues to face barriers.

Processing and Agreement
- Stage 1 applications are reviewed first.
- Applicants are notified by email by the end of July if invited to Stage 2.
